Tasked by one of the best professional golfers in history “to develop a launch monitor that I knew I could trust every shot with,” Full Swing set out to create the Full Swing KIT, a game-changing (literally) new hardware solution and accompanying iOS mobile app for pros and amateurs alike.
Full Swing chose Method to help them devise the mobile product strategy and app architecture. During the initial UX research and design phase, our team observed and interviewed golfers and their coaches to understand what users look for in a launch monitor experience. This research uncovered a long list of potential features. Method then designed a scalable architecture for iOS mobile and tablet apps that would seamlessly integrate with Full Swing’s proprietary launch monitor hardware, as well as with the Apple Watch and wireless headphones.
Now, golfers can see their swing metrics in the app and hear them read aloud through wireless headphones, enabling each golfer to customize their training session and up their game.

The Problem
Historically, the cost of launch monitors has made them out of reach for most golfers. Full Swing spotted an opportunity to disrupt the industry with a combination of high-end hardware and dynamic software that is advanced enough for the top pros and affordable enough for amateurs.
