The New Method

A new, expanded Method — now with integrated engineering capabilities

For over 20 years, Method has been providing world-class design services to recognized brands around the world. Now, we’re excited to expand our capabilities by merging Method and Skookum, our sister GlobalLogic company based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. 

Our combined organization includes talented teams across the U.S. and Europe who deliver end-to-end digital strategy, design, and engineering. Together, we will help ambitious businesses solve the right problems, create the right products, and build things right from the start. As part of the wider GlobalLogic family, we will also continue to provide scaled engineering and support our clients as they grow.  

The digital world continues to evolve quickly, and with it, the need for human-centered strategy, design, and engineering. This rapid change can create uncertainty, but we see it as an opportunity. We look forward to seizing this opportunity to grow our engineering presence and footprint to help transform more lives and businesses in even more places. 

What’s changing?

Integrated software engineering capabilities

Skookum and Method were two different companies in the GlobalLogic family. After collaborating together since late 2019, our teams learned from each other and saw how the sum was greater than our component parts. We were stronger together, and there was potential for us to do way more as a cohesive team. 

Combining our two teams into one design-led engineering consultancy means we can expand and integrate our offerings and locations. By blending Method’s strategic design focus with Skookum’s product software development capabilities, we can help clients from end to end in ways that few other firms can. Plus, as part of the GlobalLogic family, we will be able to provide our partners with scaled product engineering and advanced data capabilities. 

New locations

Method’s current presence in New York and London will remain in place. As Method and Skookum merge, we will also expand our footprint with offices in Charlotte, Denver, and Atlanta to better serve our clients across the United States. We will also continue to work with our extended GlobalLogic teams across Europe, Argentina, and India.

Aside from growing our presence, integrating our capabilities, and adopting the name Method for our combined consultancy, everything people have come to enjoy about working with us will stay the same. We’re still providing the same services, with the same people that our clients expect and deserve. Now, we simply have a greater ability and geographic reach to meet their future needs. 

This is really all about serving our clients and supporting our people even better than before. Our capabilities and cultures are additive to each other, making us stronger together than we were apart. Leaders from both organizations are still on board, pushing this company forward and striving to bring the most out of each other.
