Demeter's primary goal in engaging with Method was to clearly communicate to potential partners and clients the benefits of their advisory services. Focused, extremely clear prose and well-structured website messaging, layout, and design were critical to the success of demetergroup.net. This required updating Demeter's brand positioning through a rapid brand strategy and positioning engagement, content development, and visual brand expression through the design execution of the Demeter website and collateral. Method's services ranged from page level design (the first digital implementation of Demeter's brand positioning) and strategy to implementation and copywriting. By surfacing Demeter's approach and case studies (which were not included on their previous site), the website allows potential customers to self-select Demeter's services and understand the value the company provides. The language of investment banking is intentionally subservient to that of the unique perspective on brand and business. Team bios and qualifications are surfaced at the top level of the site, positioning Demeter's staff as thought-leaders and passionate authorities around brands within their verticals. As a final component of Demeter's brand strategy, Method developed a modular collateral system to reinforce the company's brand positioning. The cards act as an initial introduction, a leave-behind in meetings, and a directive to the website for potential clients looking to learn more.

TED stands for technology, entertainment, design: a hint at the wide-ranging topics at the heart of this long-running conference hosted each spring in Monterey, California. In 2006, TED approached Method to help them bring the experience and content of the conference online.
