Clemson University

The Clemson University School of Architecture is unique for its "fluid campus" program. Students are encouraged to spend semesters not only at the school's Charleston, South Carolina, location, but also at the school's other campuses in Genoa, Italy and Barcelona, Spain. Through the experience of studying across these various campuses, students gain insight into each city's architecture and culture. When the school asked Method to redesign its website, it wanted to make sure that the new site highlighted the character of each campus and culture as well as the possibilities of this unique program. Method's design for the site showcased the school's multiple locations on the home page and created a prominent home for the description of the fluid campus philosophy. Visually, the clean, structured pages and building block navigation area appeal to the architectural aesthetic of the target audience: prospective students, current students, alumni and staff. Method implemented the design in HTML, delivering coded pages to Clemson, ready for launch.
