Ugobe creates robotic "lifeforms" - robots that mimic lifelike behavior and actually learn and change over time. Pleo, Ugobe's first lifeform, is based on a Camarasaurus dinosaur. Ugobe wanted the public to understand Pleo as a pet, aimed at adults rather than children.
